Over the past 15 years, the studio has developed projects of varying scales and programs while also venturing into hospitality and tourism. Our work has been selected for Discoveries Travel and Tourism Startup Accelerator program in Lisbon, Portugal (2019) and has been published in Architectural Digest, The New York Times, Sight Unseen, Cereal Magazine, Food & Pleasure, Toronto Life and Fundación Feliciano Bejar.
ARCH. ALFONSO GARZA
Born in Mexico City in 1982. Earned a professional degree in Architecture & Urban Design at the Universidad Iberoamericana in 2008. Completed a Diploma in Sustainable Design & Construction in 2009 and achieved a Permaculture Design Certificate the following year. Co-founded BAS&CO (Basic Architectural Systems & Company), an office focused on simple, sustainable solutions, and in 2010 established AB Oh.
